The Unlocked Festival returns, featuring Ben Goldberg's sprawling, all-star Brainchild ensemble, incendiary experimental/art rock duo Grex, Bay Area prog band Inner Ear Brigade, and the duo of bassist Chris Trinidad and saxophonist Francis Wong.

The Unlocked Festival (formerly the Lockdown Festival) is an annual event that commemorates the spirit of creativity and resistance that prevailed through the COVID-19 pandemic. This special fundraiser offers an opportunity for the Bay Area music community to convene, gather strength, and forge ahead. (All proceeds directed to Temescal Art Center and Mujeres Unidas y Activas, an organization of Latina and Indigenous immigrant women focused on social and economic justice.)

Donations are warmly accepted. You may donate via Venmo to @grexsounds.com, or you may purchase an album of choice at grex.bandcamp.com. 100% of all Grex album sales on the day of the festival will be directed to the aforementioned causes.
